This singular-form building with cafe and entertainment area identifies with the rural countryside and was sustainably designed to minimise environmental impact.

Constructed in natural finished concrete block and dark-stained timber boarding, the Black Estate cellar door has become a popular destination for lovers of fine wines and local cuisine. The award-winning building was even featured on TVNZ’s The Art of the Architect!
