The Christchurch Club

With the help of architects, Warren and Mahoney, the aim was to revive the once, very lively club post-earthquakes, while maintaining the integrity of its heritage-listed status. This restoration has rejuvenated club membership by creating a haven for members after five years away from the location.
The extensive new additions include lounges, activity dens, accommodation suites, and a gymnasium. Not to mention a restaurant with kitchen, high-end bar, and private dining areas.
As a testament to this project successfully achieving its very delicate brief, the combined base-restoration and fit-out was the recipient of the Heritage category NZIA 2017 Canterbury Architecture Awards.
